James Bell to Depart Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce

Bentonville, AR (September 16, 2024) – The Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce announces the upcoming departure of James Bell, Vice President for Economic Development & Host of The Bentonville Beacon Podcast. After nearly four years of dedicated service, James will be transitioning to a new opportunity outside of the Bentonville area.

Brandom Gengelbach, President and CEO of the Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce, expressed his gratitude: “I couldn’t be more excited for James. I knew with his talent and abilities, it was only a matter of time before somebody offered him a new challenge and opportunity. Among many accomplishments, James has played a significant role in developing Bentonville’s and Northwest Arkansas’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, collaborating with numerous partners to attract and support countless entrepreneurs and early-stage companies. His efforts have been instrumental in connecting these businesses to the customers, talent, and resources they need to succeed and stay in the region. James has truly elevated the Chamber’s involvement in this space during his time here. We have big shoes to fill.”

James Bell shared his thoughts on the transition: “My time in Bentonville has been nothing short of amazing. The support from the community and the relationships I’ve built here both personally and professionally have been invaluable. My family and I have cherished every moment in this incredible town, and while we’re excited about the new opportunity ahead, Bentonville and Northwest Arkansas will always hold a special place in our hearts. We will always have a connection to this extraordinary place.”

James’s last day with the Chamber will be September 27th.
