Welcome to 2021! It is our privilege and honor to serve as committee co-chairs of the 8th annual Northwest Arkansas Technology Summit. Since its inception, the Summit has evolved alongside our community and our understanding of the importance of recruiting and retaining tech talent, becoming the Heartland’s premier conference in this space. We are excited to lead the charge this year!

We’re eagerly counting down the days to the 2021 NWA Technology Summit, and we cannot wait to welcome you back! In 2020, we welcomed 128 speakers and 1,600 attendees from across the globe. We talked Agile, DevOps, and Supply Chain. We dove headfirst into the quality of life that tech talent can experience in #OZ.

As we look forward to 2021, we are excited to expound on technology as a vehicle for equity – how it can break down barriers, connect, and create change in communities and how we do business. We promise the upcoming Tech Summit will be unlike any other, with access to transformative leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs who dare to think differently.

We would be remised if we didn’t give a special thanks to the Tech Summit Committee for their dedication and for the gift of their time. Together, our collaborative efforts will drive this year’s success. Additionally, we are grateful to Walmart and Shiloh Technologies for their long-term support of this event and for the opportunity to invest in our community through our involvement as co-chairs. In 2020, the Northwest Arkansas Technology Summit embraced the uncertain and convened a community across 10 countries and 33 states. As we engineer the 2021 Tech Summit, let’s share and celebrate our accomplishments and never stop challenging ourselves to consider, “what’s next after next?”
