BENTONVILLE, AR (August 15, 2022) The Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce has named Valerie Spaink Director, Community Development and Education.

Prior to joining the Chamber team, Valerie worked as the Development and Community Outreach Specialist at Legal Aid of Arkansas. We are delighted to be growing our team and are thrilled to have Valerie in this role,” said Ashley Wardlow, Interim President, and CEO. “Her proven success in project management, community programming, and fundraising make her a wonderful fit, as we continue to focus on serving our members and advancing the Chamber’s mission. Valerie’s passion for innovation and for convening will directly benefit the events she’ll manage: BWC Assemble and BWCA Hubs, Leadership Benton County, and programming for educators.

“I’m passionate about working with the community,” says Spaink. “In my role at the Chamber, I plan to create a forward-looking, sustainable, and inclusive environment, and directly be a part of positive social change.”
